What is Thaliondor?

Thaliondor is a full-contact foam fighting group, based out of Ocala, Florida. We also have a park in Gainesville, Florida as well.

What does that mean? Foam Fighting is a type of LARPing (Live Action Role Play) using boffer, or foam, styled weapons to achieve a combat style similar to actual medieval fighting, while keeping injuries to a minimum.

Thaliondor prides itself in blending the line between roleplaying and fighting as seamlessly as possible. Players can choose between one of four classes that orchestrate a different role in a combat setting. The classes in Thaliondor consist of Fighter, Archer, Wizard, and Cleric.

Fighters are the main tank, protecting the weaker by being on the frontlines. Their abilities are of the damage mitigation and self-sustaining variety.

Archers are the ranged damage dealers. They slay foes from a distance, but are usually at a disadvantage when other players rush them down.

Wizards are the damage dealing spellcasters. While damage is their main forte, Wizards also have crowd control spells to assist their team in combat.

Clerics are the support class, healing the wounded and stand as the last line of defense for a team. They use buffs and de-buffs and general healing to help their party.
