What is thaliondor?

Thaliondor is a full contact foam fighting group based out of Ocala, Florida. Read more about us in the “About“ tab!

where/when do i go to participate?

We currently have two different practices! Our home game is in Ocala, Florida, meets every Sunday at Brick City Park from 11am - 4 pm. Our newest park is in Gainesville, Florida, meets every other Saturday, from 11am - 4pm as well.

What do I need to get started?

Thankfully, nothing! All that is required is that you show up to practice with clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty. Thaliondor is a free-to-play experience, and loaner equipment is provided weekly. It doesn’t get easier than that!

does it hurt?

Full contact does carry a hefty tone to it, and experiences may vary. However, if you are comfortable with playing airsoft or paintball, full contact foam fighting does not hurt any more than those experiences. While injuries may occur, safety precautions are taken weekly to ensure that injuries are kept to a minimum.

how do i make a character?

While making a character isn’t necessary upon arrival to Thaliondor, it is encouraged! Our discord has a ton of resources available and people ready to help you in your character creating process!

where do i get gear or garb?

While personal gear or garb isn’t necessary to try Thaliondor out, if you plan to stay, it is necessary to rank up!
When looking for a weapon, look for a place that sells “full-contact legal boffer weapons”. Weapons that pass at sister games like Dagorhir and Belegarth are more than likely accepted at Thaliondor.
Thankfully, Thaliondor is pretty lenient with garb, and any fantasy themed outfits are pretty universally accepted!
